LANDESK today announced it has hired Patricia Adams, former research director at Gartner, as an IT Asset Management evangelist. With more than 20 years working in IT and software asset management analysis, Adams will play a key role as LANDESK bolsters its commitment to its asset management technology and customers worldwide.

Adams has worked with companies ranging from global enterprises to small businesses. As a research director for Gartner, she provided primary research coverage for IT and software asset management. Adams advised on multiple facets of IT-related technology, specifically on how to implement an asset management program as a shared service across complex global IT organizations and how to develop asset-related processes to reflect the changing technology landscape.
