Ivanti Neurons for MDM
Effectively manage and secure all endpoints, so you can protect data everywhere work happens.
Bilyoner, established in 2004, is a membership-based online gaming platform headquarted in Istanbul, Turkey. Operating under the motto “The First Address in Betting”, Bilyoner is regarded as Turkey’s first electronic casino games platform and offers betting services, lottery ticket results and banking services.
GO On Teknoloji, an Ivanti solutions partner in Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Enterprise Mobile Management (EMM) first connected with Bilyoner in 2015. From the beginning of the process, Sina Gider, owner and manager of GO On Teknoloji, was involved in positioning and implementing MobileIron solutions, which are now offered as Ivanti-branded products. Go On Teknoloji continues to produce solutions for the emerging needs of Bilyoner and provide support in line with the constantly evolving technology of Ivanti.
According to a survey conducted by Techjury, 67% of employees use personal devices at work and 87% of businesses are dependent on their employees’ ability to access mobile business applications.
Specifically concerning Bilyoner, its major objective was to keep a mobile-device inventory and ensure remote management. Thanks to the Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile server application and the agent application downloaded to devices, Bilyoner was able to ensure remote management of corporate mobile devices. This was followed by the new needs of device users.
Web@Work, which operates through a browser, created bookmarks for intranet pages to facilitate access through mobile phones. Docs@Work is used for opening encrypted PDF, Word and Excel files on mobile phones. Additionally, Microsoft SharePoint was used for creating a double-edged file management system.
The primary goal of the Web@Work project was to facilitate access to data for senior managers, officers engaged in approval mechanisms, call center management teams and the VIP customer support team, and to expedite the approval processes.
Thereafter, the internal pages requested by the technical, software, infrastructure and information security teams and finance team were also assigned to this application. From then on, it was possible to meet the users’ needs to execute the work through mobile phones through a corporate security framework. Thanks to this infrastructure, Bilyoner could rapidly introduce remote-working models to its employees during the pandemic.
More recently, transitioning to Android Enterprise and IOS Enterprise and the accompanying innovations have made life easier for users. For example, the Tunnel application was employed to create a VPN to enable mobile-phone users easier and quicker access to Bilyoner’s internal web pages. Users gained direct access to those pages on the browser. Gökhan İsak, Network and Security Engineer at Bilyoner, says, “Upon the request of users, we present those pages in the form of webclips and users are able to complete all processes easily by clicking the browser like an application after adding the same to the homepage.”
To date, Bilyoner’s access to information and data is 70% faster because of the latest updates. IT teams benefit from a significant savings in support time that equates to 58 minutes per day. Most importantly, thanks to all of the applications implemented, Bilyoner has realized a 34% increase in efficiency.
Its business association with Go On Teknoloji and Ivanti solutions has also been strengthened. Bilgin Demir, Ivanti Regional Director for Turkey and the Balkans, says. “For Bilyoner, the most important reason for the project’s evolution and new needs coming to the fore is the constant development of technology and user habits. At Ivanti, we always aim to take our clients to the next step in parallel with this development.”
Sina Gider, Go On Teknoloji’s owner and manager, echoes this sentiment. “Having started with MobileIron, our cooperation with Ivanti becomes stronger every other day. We have been witnessing the expansion of the support team as well as the increasing speed of developments — especially over the last two years. This plays an important role in increasing customer satisfaction. We are now focusing on other Ivanti solutions that complement the solutions we’ve provided our clients so far.”
Gokhan Isak, Network and Security Engineer at Bilyoner, concludes, “We chose the most beneficial and satisfactory solutions for our needs in 2015. Other applications failed to meet many of our requirements. Also, we received positive feedback about technical support from the users. We are quite satisfied with our long-term collaboration with Ivanti and its business partner Go On Teknoloji.
Note: A customer’s results are specific to its total environment/experience, of which Ivanti is a part. Individual results may vary based on each customer’s unique environment.
