Wavelink Velocity, marketed as “All-Touch TE” by Zebra, makes it easy for businesses to deploy this new Android form-factor and bring their existing terminal emulation client with them – with a modern, touch-driven interface. Velocity also makes it easy to convert desktop-oriented web application screens to mobile deployments via CSS inserts.
Wearable devices have been a common form-factor for workers in environments such as warehouses – where both hands are often needed for tasks such as order picking, or even steering a forklift. Velocity-based apps can be further enhanced with Wavelink Speakeasy voice enablement, as announced in June 2016.
