LANDESK today announced it has been named as one of this year’s “Top Ten Best Support Sites” by The Association of Support Professionals (ASP) for the second consecutive year. This award recognises companies that exemplify exceptional online service and support in the industry.
LANDESK was honoured this year in the medium-sized company division, which encompasses companies with revenues up to $1 billion. This underscores LANDESK’s considerable growth from 2015 to 2016 of both personnel and revenue.
The award celebrates LANDESK’s noteworthy community support and customer portal that empower its users to resolve any questions they may have while using LANDESK products. The mobile-optimised site is slick and easy to use through a single sign-in that opens to both the support portal and forums.
“At LANDESK, we focus on empowering our customers to use our products in a pain-free way that benefits their whole organisation. Our modern, intuitive support site largely drives that customer success,” said Steve Daly, CEO of LANDESK. “Receiving this honour highlights the fruition of a site that presents the best customer support and self-help in the industry. We’re thrilled that the ASP has recognised such efforts.”
The site provides customers with clear steps to resolve known requests, allowing the internal support team time to allocate to diagnosing and fixing new issues. The site also facilitates collaboration of a network of talented people to solve questions together. This process helps customers receive more direct assistance from the appropriate LANDESK team when requested, promoting better customised service.
The top ten winners were selected by a panel of 90 judges with years of experience in web support design and implementation. This group used a scoring system of 25 performance criteria to evaluate candidates and identify the award recipients. The evaluation process included overall usability, interactive features, community engagement, design and navigation, and knowledgebase and search implementation, among other benchmarks.
“Web support is always improving and evolving, so we are continually raising the bar on our scoring criteria to mirror refined standards,” said ASP executive director Al Hahn. “We were amazed at how outstanding the sites of our winners are in supporting their users. LANDESK’s site particularly exemplified industry-leading technology.”
