Ivanti, the company that unifies IT to better manage and secure the digital workplace, today introduced advanced reporting and analytics for Ivanti Identity Director through integration with Ivanti Xtraction. This latest Xtraction connector strengthens organizations’ visibility and governance around identity management and access policies and provides an attribute-based approach to identity and access with automated provisioning, workflows and self-service. Ivanti Xtraction offers real-time dashboard reporting and analytics, increasing IT’s visibility into their environments.
“As the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) goes into effect in 2018, organizations must be prepared to face strict controls around protecting sensitive data,” said Duane Newman, vice president product management and marketing, Ivanti. “By integrating Ivanti Identity Director with Ivanti Xtraction, we’re giving IT teams the insights they need to be ready for access certification reviews, internal audits and other compliance initiatives.”
Through the Ivanti Identity Director and Xtraction integration, IT teams can easily report on critical information related to who has been granted access to applications, data and other resources, and create audit trails of workflows and approvals supporting those processes. IT teams can also demonstrate compliance around removing access to key systems when someone’s role changes or when they leave the organization. Xtraction offers out of the box reports and an intuitive interface for creating custom dashboards and reports instantly for Identity Director data. IT can also gain valuable insights into the quality of the services being offered to employees, and capture trends based on requests for access to different apps and resources.
According to Gartner, “The state of the art and adoption of analytics is rapidly increasing. Mature organizations that are looking for a risk-aware approach to identity management have come to the conclusion that traditional access certification methods are inexact, labor-intensive, error-prone and insufficient to properly address inherent risks. Applying analytics to help in the definition of policies to automatically grant common patterns of access is an evolution of role mining that reduces manual effort, saves time and has the potential to eliminate errors.”1
Ivanti Identity Director will be featured at the Gartner Identity and Access Management Summit November 28-30 in Las Vegas. To learn more visit booth 110 or www.ivanti.com/xtraction
