Ivanti Expands Into The Middle East

Unified IT and Security Provider Expects Double Digit Growth Across Region in 2018

DUBAI, UAE — 16 April 2018 —

Ivanti, the company that unifies IT to better manage and secure the digital workplace, today announced that it has further expanded into the Middle East, with its office in Dubai, UAE. Ivanti will be working with channel partners and customers across all countries in the region to solidify and grow its existing presence, and to promote its unified IT and Security offering.

Gartner have predicted that “Middle East and North Africa IT spending is projected to reach $155 billion in 2018, a 3.4% increase over 2017.”1 So, while Ivanti has a long history of working with the Middle East through contractors and partners, their decision to have a permanent presence in the region reflects the company’s desire to provide the area with more support and knowledge as demand rapidly grows. Ivanti expects double digit growth across the region in 2018.

Husni Hammoud, General Manager – Middle East at Ivanti, said, “While maturity in this region varies between countries and sectors, with some organisations using the latest technologies and others still in the process of building up a complete, comprehensive IT environment, we are seeing some overall trends. Protection against cyberattacks and compliance to regulations are major concerns, and like everywhere else in the world, market transformation, competition and cutting down operational costs are major challenges. Our customers and prospects are also calling for better manageability and automation in the products that they are buying.”

Ivanti’s products are already popular in the Middle East, with a great number of existing bookings and customers across a variety of sectors. For example, an airline in the region is deploying Ivanti’s workspace and profile management solutions to manage and control over 20,000 users globally. As well as this, a critical infrastructure company that works in depth with the financial sector uses Ivanti’s solutions to automate their complete set of business and IT processes within the data centre so that no human intervention is required. Patch management is in high demand in the region, with many major banks protecting their full infrastructures using Ivanti’s Patch offerings.

Nigel Seddon, VP of Western Europe and MEA at Ivanti, said, “We look forward to growing new relationships with customers in the Middle East where we are able to demonstrate the value of Unified IT not just for security but for delivering a higher standard of digital workplace overall. As well as this we are excited to be providing new areas of opportunity for new and existing channel partners so that we can meet the needs of our joint customers.”

All business in the Middle East will be 100% channel focused. As the business grows, Ivanti’s intent is to continue to add resources to further enrichen their position in the area and enable the local team and channel partners to promote the message of unified IT and Security to customers.
