IDC MarketScape Names Ivanti/MobileIron WW Leader in UEM Software
Hey, here’s some exciting news worth sharing near and far. Ivanti/MobileIron has been named to the Leaders Category of the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide UEM Software 2021 Vendor Assessment (doc #US46957820, January 2021) report.
This follows on the heels of Gartner placing Ivanti as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Management Tools in October 2020.
Why is all this so important? As Ivanti Chairman and CEO Jim Schaper stated recently, the future of work is no longer in the future. It’s happening now. And that’s why, with the December 2020 acquisitions of MobileIron and Pulse Secure, Ivanti is expanding its capabilities in order to deliver intelligent and secure experiences across remote infrastructure, devices, and people in what we call the “everywhere workplace.”
Value-Adds to the Ivanti Technology Stack
The MobileIron and Pulse Secure acquisitions have been recognized as a natural expansion of the Ivanti technology stack to address directly the needs of the everywhere workplace—adding modern mobile and PC management, plus providing a coming together of what a modern UEM stack should look like—secure device provisioning, management, and monitoring to deliver intelligent and secure experiences across all devices. We’ll continue to expand our capabilities to include even more devices, embed greater security protocols across infrastructures, and allow organizations to self-heal, self-secure, and self-service devices proactively and autonomously.
Ivanti now provides a more robust overall UEM solution for mobile/PC endpoint management and is well-positioned to support current and future customers that recognize the value in a centralized PC/IT-centric management framework. Ivanti is bringing together three best-of-breed technologies to help customers solve genuine problems. This combined platform will be OS and service agnostic, enabling customers to truly scale their management and security frameworks—an approach starkly different from the competition.
Ivanti Neurons is a Game Changer
We’re also pleased to see that our Ivanti Neurons Platform continues to generate interest and excitement thanks to its configurable and flexible automation scenarios for device provisioning, monitoring, and lifecycle management across a range of form factors. This hyper-automation platform enables organizations to self-heal and self-secure devices—and self-service end users—in a proactive, predictable, and autonomous manner. The Neurons platform augments IT teams with automation bots that detect and resolve issues and security vulnerabilities while improving the accuracy, speed and costs of services IT delivers. Early adopters of the solution have reduced unplanned outages up to 63%, reduced time to deploy security updates by 88%, and resolved up to 80% of endpoint issues before users reported them.*
* Customer results are specific to their total environment and experience, of which Ivanti is a part. Individual results may vary based on each customer’s unique environment.
