Arriva Limited is a UK-founded transportation company with a presence in 13 countries and upwards of 35,000 employees. The firm’s IT department used Cherwell for years before growing frustrated with the system and what became an onerous level of complexity. In pursuit of a smoother experience – both for the teams managing the system, and Arriva’s thousands of employees – the company made the decision to move to Ivanti Neurons for ITSM, informed by prior touchpoints with the solution’s user community. Among the many improvements they’ve since seen through are a seamless upgrade experience, where it doesn’t take extensive support to troubleshoot new updates; a massive reduction in dashboards, where key information is more easily accessible and intuitively presented; and stronger performance system-wide, allowing the company to apply service management best practices across the organization.
