It’s back to school this month in North America with mini-remote workers crowding home networks again like it is almost normal. This month 129 vulnerabilities were reported as part of Patch Tuesday with no exploited or publicly disclosed vulnerabilities. However, 32 vulnerabilities (23 of them critical) were classified as remote code execution (RCEs) issues, bugs that remotely exploit vulnerable applications over a network. Google Chrome released a security update resolving five security vulnerabilities – all rated as high severity while Adobe Flash had a non-security update this month. Finally, as you plan for 2020 to end, remember Flash Player will be removed from all Microsoft browsers via Windows update on December 31, 2020.
